About Us

 
Words+Design is owned and operated by Lee Lewis Walsh of Tecumseh, Michigan. Lee holds an Honors degree in English Communications and Journalism, and entered the then-new field of desktop publishing in 1992. After serving as co-owner of a large nationally known book design firms, she founded Words Plus Design in 1998.

  
Words Plus Design is home-office based, allowing us to offer significantly lower prices and quicker turnaround times than larger firms while still maintaining the very highest quality standards. We use the Macintosh platform and work primarliy in QuarkXPress 6.5 and Adobe Photoshop CS.

Words+Design is located in Tecumseh, Michigan, about 35 miles southwest of Ann Arbor, Michigan,
the book publishing capital of the Midwest.
